Dolphins are animals. They
live in the sea. They have warm blood, breathe air and feed their babies with
milk, just like humans.

A dolphin breathes air
through a hole called a blowhole. This blowhole is on the top of its head.

hearing. They use their hearing to find things under water.

A dolphin make noises as it

fish or a rock, the dolphin hears the echo come back again.

pointed teeth. They use them to grab fish and squid. Then they swallow them

It is easy to tell a dolphin from a fish. A dolphin’s tail moves up
and down. The tail of a fish moves form side to side.

out of the water to see something. This is called spy-hopping.
