学习Hole的用法
hold vt. 握；举行；占有；容纳
hold 的基本含义是“握、拿”。
This cup is too hot for me to hold.这个茶杯太烫了，我没法拿。
She held the child in her arms. 她把孩子抱在怀里。
He held the flowers while she cut some
more. 他把花拿着，他又剪下了一些。
作“举行”解时是及物动词。
We held a meeting on Tuesday.我们在星期二召开了一次会议。
Chinese film weeks will also be held in
other cities. 在别的城市也将举办中国电影周。
作“拥有、占有”解。
He hold a half share in the business. 他在这生意中占有一半股份。
He held the office of chairman for many
years. 主席的职务他担任了好些年。
作“容纳、装着”解。
The plane hold about 200 people. 这架飞机大约能坐两百人。
How much water will this tank hold? 这个水箱能装多少水？
作“持有（看法）、认为”解。
I hold they are wrong. 我认为他们错了。
I still hold my former views. 我仍然坚持过去的看法。
