辨别表示计划的词汇
Plan，design，project，scheme，program这五个词都可以用作名词，表示“计划”。
1．plan表示“计划，规划，方案，打算”，是通常用词，指在做某事之前所设计的方案、制定的计划或预想的方法。这种“计划，方案”的含义用心精细、安排富有条理或有组织的活动的结果。有时指建筑物的图样。其后常接不定式和介词for。用作可数名词。例如：
Mr Green told his
family of the plan to write for a livelihood.
格林先生告诉他的家人，他计划搞职业创作来谋生。
They have drawn up a plan for overcoming the difficulties.
他们已经制定了一项克服这些困难的计划。
As we expected, the boss came round to fetch him to look at the
plans.

2．design表示“设计，计划”，强调按照目标、意向或目的而做的小心或精心的安排，和project相比，是比较确定的用语。既可以用作可数名词又可以用作不可数名词。表示“意图、企图”时，往往含有贬义，甚至是恶意。多用作复数形式。经常与介词after，from，for，in，of，with等连用。例如：

3．project表示“计划、规划、方案、打算做的事”，强调为了试验或实验而提出的工作或研究计划，通常是大规模的，有时指头脑中空想出来的，甚至是不切实际的计划。与design和plan相比，是比较含糊的。与scheme一样，含有纯理论的意味，但是是较为庄重的用语。用作可数名词，经常与介词for，of等连用。例如：
That officer introduced a project for slum clearance.

The city government has begun a project at the port to increase the
size of the harbour.

4．scheme表示“计划，规划，方案，方法”，通常指公务上的和有系统的计划，有时用表格的形式表示出来。用作可数名词，经常与介词for，in，of，on，under等连用。例如：

The company has a scheme for increasing its profit. 那个公司有一个增加利润的计划。
It’s hard to see any scheme in what the man has written, because it’s
very vague.

5．program（me）表示“计划，方案，程序表，计划表，节目单”，主要指按照某一活动的日程的先后或议程的顺序做出的计划或安排。用作可数名词。经常与介词for，in，of，on，under，with等连用。例如：
The man has a very full program for his visit to Paris.
那个人为自己访问巴黎制定了一个十分全面的计划。
The items on the program are not interesting at all. 节目单上的节目一点也没有意思。
It will be sold in the theatre with program. 它将在剧院中与节目单一起出售。
